Default Nyheim Hines Ties All-Time NFL Record for TD-Punt Returns

o

By returning 2 punts for a touchdown in a single game, Nyheim Hines tied the all-time record in the NFL (and the AFL.)

The first person ever to accomplish this feat was Jack Christiansen of the Detroit Lions, who did so in 1951 ........ amazingly, Christiansen did it twice in that same 1951 season !!! ) ) He did it on October 14th against the Los Angeles Rams, and on November 22nd against the Green Bay Packers.

That would be sweet.

If he did, he also will have set a new record ........ he will have become the first player ever to have don it in consecutive games. Even Jack Christensen didn't do that.

Hines needs to ply more on offense. In the slot, wr, put him in motion, I dont care. The Colts need more weapons on the field

He actually could have had 3 punt return TDs.
On his first 40 yard return he faked and cut to his right (right into the pursuit).
If he faked and cut to his left, he might have gone all the way!
