Default Question on punt block

So qq on the Punt block:

With 4:31 left in the 2nd, we punted from the 26 yard line, partially blocked by Michael Davis at the 16. It bounced up and was downed by Luke Rhodes at the 45.

So why was that not a live ball? The chargers touched it, yea?

It is not a live ball that can be recovered by the kicking team unless it is touched by the receiving team beyond the line of scrimmage. So a blocked kick that is touched behind the LOS and then travels beyond the LOS is still like a regular punt, is not a live ball.
