Default This would be a terrible draft for the Colts

Pre-combine mocks are pretty useless. Charleton would probably be an okay pick. Plays the run well and has a spin to go with his speed rush. Would like more suddenness though.

Why on earth would we draft not one, but two wide receivers?

Because this whole hiring Ballard thing is all a ruse and Ryan Grigson really is the man still in charge of drafting?

Assuming that's not the case, other than that, no, I have no idea why the Colts would ever do that.

Anyone trying to do a 7 round mock is really just inviting ridicule. There's no way to be so well versed in all 32 teams so as to nail a Mock in such a way where you're not getting scorn.

I'd be ok with Wilson (cb) in the 3rd and Staples (wr)in the 6th. Other than that not a fan.

yea, that was my thought. I'm not against a late round pick on an obscure WR prospect. Lots of good players found that way. But not 2. No way, not when we need more LBs, lots more LBs.

A mid round RB, and maybe a late round WR, other than that it should be all defense. The offense really isn't the problem.

I too want pretty much all-defense in both free agency and the draft except for RB and Punter.....

However, if a "1st round" O-Lineman fell to our 2nd round pick or our 3rd round pick, I would not complain, I like who we have but you can almost always use another talented body on the O-Line when you have a franchise QB to protect.

Cheers,

if a 1st round olineman falls to the 2nd or 3rd round, then they were never a 1st round olineman
