Remind me again why we cut Simon but kept Basham...

You don't suppose it was that the Colts have a DL group that is healthy and they don't have enough O linemen? Maybe they need an extra RB since Mack is one boo boo from the IR?

No matter where their needs are, if he was good enough, they wouldn't be making him a healthy scratch. They are essentially acknowledging that he makes zero impact.

Well, Ridgeway looked good in preseason against the scrubs. Guess we will see where he's at against the big boys. Just heard Big Joe say that Autry (sp) may be out a few weeks.

Jesus Christ, that makes no sense. Out of 53 you get 46. There are guys on the roster like AC who can't play, but are still on the 53 roster. IF all your DL is healthy but you are short on O linemen, you would go into the game with just 2 backups for the O line? One of them just signed this week?

Remember Good can't play either. So he and AC are 2 of 7 that can't play.

Guess they should cut Autrey too

Of course it makes sense. If the guy was a good player, he would be active and on the field. He's basically bottom of the active roster, so he's expendable based on needs, which means he sucks. If he was a better player, they would find someone else to move around.

I like the colts and the points today. Maybe they pull this one out.

Basham has shown nothing. Why would anyone be sticking up for him?
