There is a cautionary tale

There are lots of smart young coaches out there who will love to work for the colts

true, but I would like to have some continuity going forward and build something that will last for a while. not saying he has to be DC forever, but maybe a couple years then someone else takes over if he moves on.

yep, I believe we dodged a bullet and got a great coach for this team. I would guess we didnt make the post season under that douche.

If he gets offered Cleveland it is hard seeing him say no. That and he would be a great hire for them. I hope he is the first of many who leave. I hope Reich's coaching line is the deepest in the NFL and we are constantly raided for head coaches by other teams. That would be a great problem to have.

Cleveland also requested to interview the Colt's OC Nick Sirianni as well.

Taking a guy from his first OC job to running a team is really chancy.

Cleveland seems on the upward trend. But until they show some consistency, I will see it as a coach killer.

Some of these fires I agree with. Packers, Arizona, Bucs. Running old systems or even 90's offensive systems and not keeping pace with the league. But also some of these teams are perpetually at the bottom for a reason. Impatience by not allowing a coach to establish his system and also bad drafting.

And oddly enough, Belicheat trading Brisett to the Colts was a "screw you" to Kraft during the whole Kraft/Brady vs Belicheat/Garoppolo affair. It will be glorious when that franchise collapses in a year or two
