Happy to have @BigTimeHank on my side again. Can't wait to relive college practice nightmares every day in practice this year @johnesimon51

If he drafts a stud OL I will not be butthurt, but I still think a solid OLB/MLB or CB will do more to improve the team.

Been happy about it all day. It's 9:30 PM and I feel the same. It's nice to feel optimistic about the team for a change.

I didn't mention the draft, all I said was that I am starting to like Ballard more and more and I was not sure how all this shakes out, but on the surface Ballard has done a hell of a job in free agency. Plus, I disagree with the meh range on UFA moves, I think Ballard has done a hell of a job. If he fucks up the draft, then I will be one of the first to rip him a new ass. Of course he needs to draft well, that's a no brainer.

If this fatty lives up to his hype then it could be the key to having a decent defense a lot sooner than I expected. An actual playmaker at NT will only help the DT and DE make plays. It'll keep blockers off the weak (for now) LBs, freeing them up to run and read the play unencumbered. It'll flow down to the DBs when he helps stop the run without backfield help and collapses the pocket a half second sooner. I just hope he's worth that contract. If he is the defense should be capable of top-half performances consistently.
