Default Colts resign Tyquan Lewis.

1 year, 2.1 million, 500,000 guaranteed.

That’s a good signing. Lewis is a decent player when he’s healthy.

Sure, but the contract matches. Decent value on a decent player, good value if he can stay healthy.

Lewis looks pretty good when he's out there. Dude gives Parris Campbell a run in the shit luck department.

Lewis has looked ok, but isn't someone who i can say i think is about to burst onto the scene and produce big numbers. As a rotational piece he is fine, so long as we are not hoping for anything more from him.

As a former 2nd round pick (admittedly the last pick of the 2nd round), forgetting his injuries, he is has not lived up to his draft position. In 48 games (so 3 full seasons over 5 years), he has produced 60 tackles and 9.5 sacks. So nothing great, but not terrible either.

2nd round picks you hope to be consistent starters, that you aren't thinking of replacing within a 5 year period. He has been a whole lot better than Banogu though who hasn't had a sack since his rookie year.

I like the 1 year signing. Not much risk and Lewis should feel the need to prove he's worth a lot more in future signings. If he doesn't, ... farewell.
