If they view Zach Banner with such ambitious goals (and I'm not saying they don't), I wonder what that says about how they feel about Le'Raven Clark.
Do they feel like how they must feel about TJ Green (not great, clearly with Hooker coming onboard to fill the role that TJ Green was supposed to do). Or, do they think that Clark is possibly the LT of the future, with Castonzo aging/expensive, and arguably declining? Funny how it could be literally either end of the spectrum. Clark was hideously raw last preseason but by the end of the year it seemed that he had gotten it decent. Not decent enough where I'd trust him to be the franchise LT, but if that's the rate of his growth, then he should be there in no time. |

My guess is that this is all about upside. It's certainly a boom or bust pick. When you factor in the size, bull-dozing ability that this line lacks, and the bloodline, then there's reason for optimism. We'll see if Philbin can coach him up. |

His pop was host on one of the NFL Network shows for a bit, so good for the apple not falling far from the tree. Cautiously optimistic for him being successful here.

agreed, he's a long shot,
but seems like the kind of good character and build we're moving towards I thought it was interesting to see how big he really is, in reference to PG...he truly is a large large man, I'd think too tall for a guard |
