Default Colts tender several ERFAs and RFAs

Per Keefer:

Additionally, Colts tendered 3 restricted free agents today:
WR Chester Rogers
S Matthias Farley
C/G Evan Boehm

And 2 exclusive rights free agents:
WR Marcus Johnson
LS Luke Rhodes

That helps round out some depth questions.

Haeg and now Boehm interior depth behind Nelson, Kelly and Glowinski.

Farley behind Hooker and ???

Rogers behind Hilton, Funchess and ??? (I hope Cain).

I will be interested to see what level of RFA tag. Compensation or no compensation (both Farley and Rogers were undrafted and Boehm was s 4th rounder).

That’s an extra $3MM towards the cap floor and would guarantee compensation if any were signed.

Rogers for punt and kick return. He does tend to catch the ball.

He does catch the ball. I'm sure that he was tendered as an insurance policy because of just that. But, I would still like to see an upgrade there. I hope Ballard does as well.

Rogers got better by the end of the year. But man did he have some awful drops. I'm ok with him as a WR 5.

I think the discussion is about his return ability. But yes, he needs to move down the depth chart as a WR,
