I pretty much agree. After the whole cancer thing his first year, that was such an uplifting story for the city, everyone loved him. But in the following years, he seemed two-faced, stubborn, and back-stabbing. That cancer thing bought him extra time just as much as having Luck did. If that had never happened, fans would have turned on him a long time ago.

Venturi was never a HC, an interim HC yes. But he was never hired as an HC.

Pagano let his assistant coaches get canned. When he did that he lost my vote as a wonderful man. Great leaders, friends don’t do shit like that. They have a backbone and stick up for their people, even if it hurts them personally. I’m glad he beat cancer but that in no way makes him a wonderful man. It makes him a guy that he got the kind of cancer that can be cured. Glad he’s gone.

Damn Dam! Pagano was a terrible coach, without Luck he would have been fired a long time ago. He was a worthless POS. You need to quit riding this dead fucking horse.

Yes, and that is in the past. Moving forward, with two men of repected caliber, I'm thinking about the future.

Grigson never said a word. Although he has admitted publicly to being a dick as a gm yet hasn’t said anything that I have heard about pagano or anyone. Pagano got all his coaches fired and recently admitted Luck got him more years than he deserved. Not really hard to connect the dots |

When this board first began having "fire Pagano" posts, some of his defenders claimed it wasn't his fault, that Grigson was forcing him to start players and run the team the way Grigson dictated. I remember saying at that time, I DON'T WANT A COACH WHO WOULD DO GRIGSON'S BIDDING JUST TO SAVE HIS JOB! I want a coach who would say "KMA" I'm the coach and I'll run this team the way I feel it should be run. Pagano didn't do that, he was more interested in keeping his job than he was in doing his job.
