Glad he didn't go to the Titans. Now if Watson leaves, the Texans won't have a franchise QB anymore. I love how dysfunctional the Texans are.

They might be the first NFL team to go 0-17. Long live Jack Easterby and his Houston Holy-Rollers!

Hmmm - Not sure how reliable this guy's sources are but he indicates the Colts offered Watt more money. Maybe Arizona offered more guaranteed money or Watt just wanted to play in the desert.

Was told the Cardinals beat out 9 teams for JJ Watt. Buffalo was biggest competition

The deal JJ Watt signed with the Cardinals was NOT the most he was offered. The Cleveland Browns and Indianapolis Colts each offered more money. Tennessee's offer was very similar.

So you choose Arizona and less money!! I don’t believe that , makes no sense unless he was looking for a retirement city

Fuck that dude

Unless it is a bullshit story, which I most definitely think it is. Why would Ballard give that kind of money to a 31 year old lineman with 5.5 sacks last year? Why would he choose less money to play for a non play off team? Ballard does not overpay.

Just read Steven Holder got a denial from the Colts. I tend to believe him

He wouldn't, Ballard is too damn smart for that. Plus how many games has Watt missed due to injury the past 5 years. Makes no damn sense. The Cardinals haven't been relevant for awhile, maybe they think this puts them on the map. Watt has been a great player and is a sure hall of famer, but he is at the end of his great career. If I was him, I would have went for the money too. I despise the Texans, but 3 Texans I really liked were Watt, Watson, and Hopkins.

Those are the only three Texans most people could have named a year ago. And now two are gone, and the third wants out.

What a dumpster fire of an organization. Glad they are in our division.
