I was pretty close. I am happy to be wrong.

The choice not to take the tie against the Texans in Game 4 wound up being the difference in winning and not winning the division, but without Reich I seriously doubt that the Colts would have been in contention as they were (and still are), so I accept the good and the bad ....... there was ten times as much good than bad with Reich, especially compared to Pagano.

No, it didn't. We could have stopped them and didn't. Yes, it was a dumb call (unless we made it, then it was brilliant), but not getting shut out against the jags would have produced the same result. I hate hanging the outcome of 16 games on one play. Its just not fair. We converted a 4th and 2 tonight, our season was.hanging in the balance more than the houston play.

And beside that. The Colts were moving the ball at will and they had the right call made to pick up the 1st down. Just a bad pass by Luck. But Reich set the tome for this team that we will be aggressive and he showed them how much he believed in them.

It was the right call..... C&O just cant give up on it

I was 50% on mine.

Way off on the wins and about the defense.

Luck did struggle a bit early and Ebron had a huge year.

Yes, the season doesn't hang on just one play. But the team had more control over that play (and that game) than any of the others.

Also, comparing going for it on 4th and 2 tonight was considerably different than doing what we did in that game. There's a fine line between being reckless and aggressive, and that was a prime example of being the former.

It was rare bad call, made by an otherwise excellent coach. That's why I stated that I accepted it for what it is, in regard to the season overall. I'm not bitter about that game or that call, I'm simply critiquing it.

You know, I thought we should revisit this thread to see how close people were, and then I remembered that I didn't have to go looking for it and I waited for Colts and Oreos to do my light work for me.

Edit: Wait a minute. This is not the right thread. C&O panned for fool's gold.

There is no "right" thread.

Numerous posters (including yourself) posted in this thread at the beginning of the season, in addition to posting in Smitty's stickied thread.

Smitty's stickied thread was primarily soliciting what the Colts' final record would be.

Hoopsdoc's OP was not just soliciting the Colts' final record, but any and all other predictions about what will happen during the season.

Mine are,

1. The Colts will finish the season somewhere between 4–12 and 9-7.

2.Luck will not start every game. He will get injured at some point.(I pray I’m wrong on this one.)

3. Mack will get hurt as well.

4. Leonard and Hooker will establish themselves as the only 2 good young players on an otherwise horrible defense.

5. Hilton will struggle more than expected without Moncrief opposite him.

6. Colts will once again be in the bottom half of the league in sacks allowed.

I will add more as I think of them, but needless to say, I think the upcoming season will be challenging.

Win the AFC South Division.

Win the divisional playoff game.

A barn-burner against the Broncos in the AFC Championship game will go right down to the wire ........ I don't know which team will win, and represent the AFC in the Super Bowl.

Ebron will be a huge red zone target with double digit TDs
See if you make enough predictions, a few are BOUND to be correct

I was right about Ebron and Luck.

Not far off on the record

Completely wrong, I am glad, about the OL and DL

So not winning the division because of the tie actually helped us. We go to the Chiefs and not the Pats where we all know they cheat and have a huge advantage

Yes the Chiefs game will be tough but I think the Ravens can beat the cheats in pussboro
