The Grady and Big Joe Show came to an end on Friday. There's nothing worthwhile (?) except JMV on that station anymore

Ballard also notes that he really wants to improve the talent across the D. Omaha will be happy.
Hell yes that makes me happy. Pass rushers galore

Oh wow, didn't know that.

I listen to podcasts for Grady and Big Joe, JMV and Query & Schultz. What's replacing Grady & Big Joe? Don't tell me it's all ESPN national programming until Dakich at noon. Barf.

EDIT: Just listened to the Grady and Big Joe open from yesterday. It just sounds like Grady is leaving. They'll probably find a new co-host, I'd imagine.

I am all for building the D.

But you need another WR somewhere. I don't care if its draft, FA or trade. And it can't be some second/third rate on the cheap crap like Ryan Grant. Or a 34 year old Andre Johnson

Its not like they don't have the FA money to do it. You eventually have to spend some of that money.

I listen to the podcasts, too. That's the only way I can listen to Dakitch; pick and choose what I want to hear. As far as Grady and Joe goes, I just don't think it will work without Grady. Maybe I'm wrong, but sticking someone like Bowen or Rakestraw in there isn't going to cut it. Thanks for the Query & Schultz mention. I will check them out.

Hard for me to imagine a situation where one of Harry, Brown, Harmon, Samuel, Metcalf, or McLaurin aren’t BPA at 26, 34, or 52.

Sounds like no big free agent signings are in the cards. Lose the off season. Win the real season

I agree. Grady and Big Joe worked well together because they were polar opposite personalities but respectful of one another and never talked over each other. All of 1070's other personalities are way too much like Big Joe to be interesting.

I kinda wonder if they offer Venturi a FT gig. Or if he'd even take it. I have my issues with Venturi, but it wouldn't be the worst idea for 1070.

And Q&S ... yeah, I like it. Query is a bit of an odd duck and acquired taste. Schultz is pretty funny and self-deprecating and is one of the better Indy Twitter followers. Has a platform but actually respects and engages with listeners and followers. He's a good dude.
