I believe that mcd was in on coming here. However, he got a last minute pitch that he liked better, which is fine. The problem is that he had already committed here (without actually signing yet) and didnt honor that commitment.

lack of integrity is more correct.
Yep. I would be able to look past it if it were just McDaniels that his decision affected. Screwing over the assistants that you had lined up and promised that you were going to Indy is inexcusable.

Coaches Agent Bob LaMonte confirmed to @SBJSBD that he has terminated his relationship with Josh McDaniels. "My word is my bond. Once you break that, there's nothing left," LaMonte said.
This absolutely had to happen and gives a good indication of how McDaniels is going to be viewed around the NFL outside NE.

McDaniels is fucking garbage as a human being. His word means nothing and I am glad he's keeping his sorry ass in that shit hole NE. I'm hearing that his wife wasn't sold on coming to Indy. If that's the case the SOB should have declined the job a hell of a lot earlier.

That's the enraging part. He had weeks to back out. Instead he balls out after telling the Colts what staff he wanted. It's such a chickenshit move

Didnt Belicheck do something similar back in the day to the Jets?

No one but the patriots will hire McDaniels now. Damn we dodged a bullet.

yes, Jets to Pats.

I think he may have even had his introductory press conference, but I am not sure.

Totally agree. Chickenshit move by chickenshit people that reside in NE. It's no wonder that the Pats are the most hated team in the NFL. I fucking despise Kraft, BB, Mcfuck, and Brady. I will forever love the Giants for fucking up their perfect season. I will also say that I still believe Montana is the GOAT, not that pussy Brady. Montana 4-0 and Brady 5-3 in Super Bowls. If not for brain farts by the Falcons and Seahawks, Brady would be 3-5. Damn, I hate all things NE.

Yes but what BB did was worse

He signed a contract, started the job for a day or two and then told them he was quiting, went to the Pats

The Pats actually had to give up a first round draft pick to the Jets in 2000 as compensation for that move, plus I think one or two later round picks in 2001/2002......I forget the details, read it last night.

And if not for a missed FG and easy dropped by Baltimore he would not have even been in the second Giants SB.

And if not for a faked injury cheater in 2003 might not have made that one

And the tuck rule game

And multiple overturned TD calls this season favoring the Pats that gave them the #1 seed.

His whole damn career has been one lucky break after another.
