Chap, Kravitz, and Holder all have it as “close” from an NFL source. That means it’s done once the Patriots season is over.

Eberflus seems to be a good choice for defensive coordinator. He was supposed to take over for Marinelli if/when he retired. Marinelli decided to coach another year instead.

He appears pretty highly regarded:

Peetz (The OC) I haven’t found as much info on, but he’s young and has risen quickly, so he must be doing something right.

Interesting that McDaniels is staffing himself with up-and-comers this time. Last time in Denver he had Mike McCoy and Mike Nolan as his coordinators, so he seems to be leaning toward having fellow younger guys as opposed to grizzled old ball coaches.

Just not a fan of Mcdaniels, and don't understand the hold up if they felt he was the guy all of a sudden titans fire Mularkey and they're finalizing the deal

If Rapoport and Lombardi are to be believed, it was already close.

Yep, makes sense that it would leak more firmly now with there potentially being another suitor now.

Things only get leaked because someone wants them to get leaked. Prior to the Titans firing him, there was a need to put it out there so firmly in the public square. Now there is.

Alright, we’ll see how this turns out. Hopefully he learned from his mistakes in Denver and he and Ballard can work well together.

I think this means a lot of turnover on offense. They already needed 2-3 new OL. Add 2 RBs and 2 WRs to the shopping list.
