I think we can make the playoffs with Jacoby as our QB. I have no faith whatsoever that it would not be a one and done. To me if this team does not progress, it is a waste of a season.

But at this point it’s sacrifice picks for a retread beat up confidence shatter QB or keep the picks add more playmakers and roll with what we got. How much better is Wentz or Darnold than Brisset at this point?

Yes that is true. They may be worse, but I don't think anyone can argue that Wentz and Darnold have a much higher ceiling than Brissett. We know what Reich can do with Brissett and it isn't much. We don't know what he can get out of someone else. I don't think either Wentz or Darnold end up here, I think that their asking price with probably be above what Ballard values them at. I would just like someone who has a ceiling that is higher than Jacoby's is to be our starter, be it thru the draft of some other way. Like it has been said, we don't have any really good obvious options right now.

Jacoby sucks. He sucks people. We won despite his performance. He holds the ball too long. He won’t throw to a guy unless he is open, which means he doesn’t throw with anticipation. He is check down Charlie. They went to a 39 year old declining Rivers over a QB that is supposed to be in his prime. He had a QBR almost 20 points lower than Luck and over 10 points lower than Rivers. Rivers held the ball half a second less to a full second. That is how fast you need to make a decision and get the ball out. His yards per attempt was over a yard less than Luck and almost two yards less than Rivers. We watched 30 games with him. Time to move on.

Let him go to the pats, he fits in that system.

If the Colt's can't work out a deal with the Jet's for Darnold, I would like to see them try to move up in the draft, assuming there's a guy that they think is the next franchise QB.

Well, the Jets finally traded Darnold. Sam is headed to Carolina. And the Jets accepted a lot less draft capital for Darnold vs what the Colts traded for Wentz.

Jets trading QB Sam Darnold to the Carolina Panthers for a 2021 6th round pick and 2nd and 4th round picks in 2022, per sources.

The only question I have is - what are the Chicago Bears doing? I know that there are question marks with Darnold - but they couldn't top Carolina's offer? Or are they going to try to acquire Bridgewater now for even less than this offer?

I was on the Darnold bandwagon for a long time and wanted him not Wentz for the Colts. I just hope I was dead wrong about this.

I think he will have success in Carolina. I was hoping for him as well. Still, I'm excited to see what Wentz does.
