I've seen multiple mocks send Settle to the Colts, but I'm not sure he's a scheme fit now that they're in a 4 man front.

Prisco has Colts taking Jackson, Hubbard, and Sutton. I'm fine with Jackson and Hubbard in those spots, but Hubbard is redundant on this roster. They need a speed rusher much more than what Hubbard offers.

Rasheem Green, Harold Landry, Ronnie Harrison/Malik Jefferson, Jerome Baker is about as good as we can hope for at this point.

He's not anywhere close to a scheme fit. He's a 2 gap NT with short arms IIRC. Basically the opposite of what the Colts would look for.

My ideal 2nd & 3rd round is ...

2.04 (#36) - Will Hernandez (OG-UTEP)
2.05 (#37) - Harold Landry (DE-Boston College)
2.17 (#49) - Lorenzo Carter (LB-Georgia)
3.03 (#67) - Kerryon Johnson (RB-Auburn)

Agree Settle is completely the wrong type of player for this defense, although if available and health concerns are cleared then Maurice Hurst is the absolute perfect fit for this defense. His biggest strength is his first step quickness and his ability to get into the backfield up the middle on a consistent basis causing mayhem.

No reason to send Hankins packing and then draft Settle.

36 and 37 - Williams or Hernandez with one pick, Landry/Hurst/Rasheem Griffin/Josh Jackson with the other

49 - BJ Hill? Malik Jefferson? Or one of the above if he's still there.

67 - Shaqueem Griffin? Nick Chubb? John Kelly?

Some combination of these guys would be my preference. D and OL are really what I want to see though. No TE, WR, and no RB until at least round 4 IMO.
My thoughts exactly. We need trenches not skill positions. That can be next year or FA. You build a team in the trenches and everyone else looks and plays better.

Why not two defenders at 36 & 37? I'm fine with Mewhort/Slausen.

Zierlein mocks Landry, Jackson, and Leonard to the Colts in round 2. That would be a very nice haul.
