Default Sad Day for NFL Bart Starr Passed

Packers legend Bart Starr died Sunday at age 85.

The Packers lifer had been in poor health since suffering a stroke in 2014. One of the greatest quarterbacks of all-time, Starr spent his entire 16-year career with the Packers, earning MVP honors in 1966 while winning five championships including Super Bowls I and II. The Alabama alum later returned to Green Bay as the team's head coach, serving in that capacity for nine seasons. The Bart Starr Award has been given out annually in his honor since 1989. The Hall of Famer will be missed.

Went to a football camp in 1978 at Marquette, had dinner with him and Ray Nitschke both great guys. Starr was my favorite as a kid in 60's

Damn I was at Disneyland in 1968 after he won Super Bowl. He was there with family. I was with a date who wouldn’t let me chase after him for an autograph. I still have the autograph and spent the rest of the day alone in Disneyland. Never regretted it

Starr and Johnny U were the Brady and Manning comparison of their day.

The woman I ended up marrying would have sent me to get it. She would not want one herself however
