I agree with smitty. We run behind a fantastic center guard combo. We did fine with veldheer. Sign or draft a LT and keep line intact

Trevor Lawrence - No, he's a Jaguar
Justin Fields - Likely Top 5
Zach Wilson - Likely Top 5
Trey Lance - Likely Top 10
Mac Jones - Might be gettable, my personal favorite of gettable options
Kyle Trask - Should be gettable, don't like mobility
I’m down with Mac Jones

Then again Nelson could turn out to be one of the best LT's in the game. They must see potential or they wouldn't have tried him there nor continue to talk about that as a possibility......

The top available in my opinion are:

1. Penei Sewell, Oregon (I figure he goes to Dolphins at #3)
2. Christian Darrisaw, Virginia Tech
3. Rashawn Slater, Northwestern
4. Sam Cosmi, Texas
5. Alex Leatherwood, Alabama
6. Liam Eichenberg, Notre Dame

I feel that the Dolphins, Cardinals, Redskins and Bears, along with the Colts could go with an OT. If my rankings are close that should leave Leatherwood or Eichenberg available at pick #21 ? Pure speculation... Personally I go with the Eichenberg and put him next to Nelson.
If we could get Darrisaw or Cosmi and line them with Nelson, that side of the line will be set for another decade. I know a lot less about Leatherwood and Eichenberg, but at least he and Nelson could wax nostalgic about good old South Bend.

Depends. There's not a lot of QB need in the top 5 drafting teams.
Jags for sure will take one.
Will the Jets? Maybe, but I could imagine they don't.
The Dolphins won't.
The Falcons probably won't.
The Bengals won't.

NBC mock draft has us taking Trask, I haven't really studied up on him.

I don't like Trask's mobility. Of the QBs that I think the Colts may have a chance to draft, I like Mac Jones the most for his anticipation, mobility, and pocket presence.

The only team in there I see for sure won’t is the Bengals. Dolphins could if the right QB falls to them.

He tested out as 6’2 at the senior bowl. Colleges always pad the height and weight of players.
