Default Colts fan, be grateful….

From an NFL.com article about the top 3 needs of each AFC team:
Quote:
Baltimore Ravens: Linebacker, wide receiver, running back. Projected cap space: $25.6 million.
Buffalo Bills: Offensive line, pass catcher, cornerback. Projected cap space: $80 million.
Cincinnati Bengals: Linebacker, offensive line, tight end. Projected cap space: $49.5 million.
Cleveland Browns: Wide receiver, offensive line, linebacker. Projected cap space: $81.4 million.
Denver Broncos: Offensive line, defensive back, tight end. Projected cap space: $34.6 million.
Houston Texans: Offensive line, cornerback, strong safety. Projected cap space: $74 million.
Indianapolis Colts: Wide receiver, defensive end, defensive back. Projected cap space: $106.6 million.
Jacksonville Jaguars: Quarterback, pass catcher, offensive line. Projected cap space: $2.6 million.
Kansas City Chiefs: Pass rusher, defensive back, center. Projected cap space: $10.1 million.
Los Angeles Chargers: Linebacker, defensive back, defensive tackle. Projected cap space: $22.3 million.
Miami Dolphins: Quarterback, defensive end, offensive line. Projected cap space: $9.1 million.
New England Patriots: Defensive line, pass catcher, special teams. Projected cap space: $23.9 million.
New York Jets: Offensive linemen, edge rusher, running back. Projected cap space: $101.6 million.
Oakland Raiders: Defensive back, edge rusher, wide receiver. Projected cap space: $71.2 million.
Pittsburgh Steelers: Linebacker, cornerback, wide receiver. Projected cap space: $12.1 million.
Tennessee Titans: Wide receiver, defensive end, guard. Projected cap space: $43.5 million.
First season in FOREVER that we are not looking for starting Offensive Linemen but there are just not enough quality ones to staff a 32 team league.

Buckle up, Colts fans! This ride is going to be wild! The future is so bright…I gotta triple up!

Walk Worthy,

Default

And, as an aside of the above post. AFC playoff teams from 2018:

Kansas City: $10.1m free cap space
San Diego: $22.3m free cap space
New England: $23.9m free cap space
Baltimore: $25.6m free cap space
Houston: $74.0m free cap space
Indianapolis: $106.6m free cap space

Other than Houston, all the other playoff teams from 2018 are going to be pretty constrained in free agency bidding (remember, need to take about $8m - $10m off the number above to account for: draft class, spots 52/53 on roster, practice squad and in-season "churn" space).

Good times, Colts fans!

Walk Worthy,
