I wonder what Oakland would offer.
Value chart says the drop is worth about 300 points. 300 points is about the value of a late 2nd. They own the 41st pick with a value of 490 points. Can’t see them offering more than that.

If Chubb is available at 6, fuck trading down, take the man.

Unless you get a boatload of picks in return and don't drop too far down in the first round.

Yeah, if Chubb is there, I'd want 12, 22, 53, 56, and 65 to move down if it was the Bills.

Have a feeling the Colts have talked to Miami and Buffalo. Either might move up if the QB they like is there. I think it’s Allen if it’s Buffalo, and maybe Mayfield for Miami. I think the Colts are a cheaper trade partner than Denver or Cleveland.

Per Rap:

The #Saints have made plenty of calls about making a big leap up from pick No. 27, I’m told. Could be due diligence in case a certain player (perhaps a QB) falls. But they will be well-prepared to move tonight if it comes down to it.

I really don't want to move all the way down to 27, but if it was for 1st round picks next year and the following year plus an additional 2nd this year, might entertain the possibility. We could always try to trade back up in the 1st round ourselves with our 2nd rounders.

The Saints have Brees signed for at least two more years, so they'll probably be pretty decent for the next year or two. Given this fact, I don't think their 2019 and 2020 1st rounders are collectively comparable to our #6 pick this year, nor do I think that you're proposed trade would be as lopsided as I'd want it to be to justify a trade this year.

Tony Pauline says the Seahawks are looking to move out of Rd1 and the Browns are a likely partner.

Quote:
* The talk leading up to the start of the draft is about trades, many which won’t occur. One that could very well happen is the Seattle Seahawks getting their wish and trading out of the first round. As we suggested in our mock draft the Cleveland Browns will move up to the 18th pick and select offensive tackle Mike McGlinchey or Kolton Miller, whichever player is available. Seattle would then receive both of the Browns draft picks at the top of round two, satisfying their desire to move out of round one.
We could see the Browns end up with 4 1st round picks tonight.

#12 + #22 for #4
+another 1st if they trade up from the 2nd

Mike Wells on DD show today says scuttlebutt in Colts complex is that Ballard will take Chubb at 6 if he's still there or plan B is to take Roquon Smith. Wells says this is also consistent with Polian's advice to Colts leadership.
