Banogu
Does anyone have any info on what the hell is going on with this guy? Zero defensive snaps after what everybody was calling a good camp on a team that cannot rush the passer worth a shit. This is his third season, if he isn't worth even one defensive snap why is is he even on the team?

I didn't realize he didn't see the field Sunday night.
I hope Paye and Dayo pan out because Banogu and likely Turay are busts. I was optimistic about Turay because he flashed early last season but so far this year he is either still injured or just not getting it done.

...And Turay is hurt.
I haven't seen much out of Paye regarding pass rush, I think he is pretty solid against the run. I wouldn't expect much from Dayo; he missed all camps, needs to get in football shape, Achilles really take another year to heal from, and he is a rookie. He isn't going to save this team's lack of pass rush and we shouldn't expect him to. This should have been addressed in the off-season.

Earlier this season when the beat reporters asked about usage and snap counts, they were told that Banogu was part of a particular package / rotation. He was part of the "NASCAR" package. Basically, all that they are tasked to do is try to get to the QB at all costs.
If he is only getting snaps through that particular package, that makes me think that they don't believe he can provide any help with stopping the run and that he will only see the field on blatantly obvious passing downs.
