It's actually sort of a retro phrase... it generally means 'period.' I think it has roots in telegraph and or radio days.

Agree, $14M/year for Glowinski is too much. But I don't think he will get that or try to.

Yep, it was a way of indicating there should be a period when dictating a message. Typing "full stop." is redundant.

Pretty fitting phrase on this site then, lot of redundancy here … Sure hope Deon Cain can be a #2 for us next year. (had to say it)

I feel like a franchise tag value for OG’s would be significantly lower (not factoring all the enormously wealthy LT’s) and that with all our stupid cap space that we could justify whatever it would be for Glowinski on a one year deal to ensure continuity.

But even with our stupid cap space, can’t justify $14M for Glowinski.
The transition tag is always an option in that scenario. Let another team do the negotiating and just match. That said, I doubt it's that serious and a fairly team friendly extension can likely be negotiated before free agency starts.

Wasn't he considered a first round talent who fell to us in the sixth for some reason. (Injury?)

When do negotiations formally begin? Can we re-sign our guys now, or do we have to wait until some date later? I forget the rules on this.

Yes. We can negotiate now and sign whenever. If it is before the new league year start date (Mar 14th ?) then it has to fit under this year's cap. If after the start date, then it fits only under the 2019 cap.

You know people that have been saying it for a long time? Of course not. People have been saying it recently. And it is dumb
