One positive - I believe this means the restrictions of working with players in the offseason is removed since he no longer is part of the official coaching staff.

He is going to be working at a sports performance facility with other former players so he cant coach full time due to league rules.

He's been working with other former NFL players for months now doing #TheGRIDIRONGANG. A group of players who work with the younger generation to develop their skills during the offseason. A lot of Colts players are part of it, and Mathis has been working non-stop to help them get better and hone themselves.
