Default Trevor Lawrence Answers the Bell ...... Doug Pederson, Daredevil

o

With his team trailing by a score of 27-20 with only 2 minutes left to play in the 4th quarter, Lawrence drove his team 75 yards for a touchdown, and followed that up with a successful 2-point conversion on an out-pass to his wide receiver to beat the Ravens by a score of 28-27.

With only 36 seconds to play and no timeouts, the Jaguars were at the Ravens' 39-yardline. Lawrence completed a long pass to his Zay Jones in-bounds, at the Ravens' 10-yardline ...... with the clock running down, I was sure that they would spike the ball. Instead, Lawrence hurried his team to the line and threw a TD pass to Marvin Jones, Junior. Head coach Doug Pederson ...... the same daring Doug Pederson who made the trick-call for a TD pass from the wide receiver to the quarterback just before halftime in the Philadelphia Eagles' Super Bowl win over the Patriots in 2017 ...... decided to gamble by going for the 2-point conversion, which ultimately was the difference in the final score.

(vs. COWBOYS, 12/18)

With less than 2 minutes to go and his team trailing by 3 poitns, Trevor Lawrence made a Sophomore mistake ...... after scrambling for an 11-yard gain and a first down, he chose not to go down, and the Cowboys promptly popped the ball out of his arms for a turnover.

But the Jaguars still had 3 timeouts left, and they needed a 3-and-out from their defense to give their young QB a second chance ...... and they did just that.

With only 1 minutes left to play and 1 time-out left, the Jaguars needed to get into field-goal range quickly ...... and they did. On the final play of regulation, Riley Patterson booted a 48-yard field goal to send the game into overtime.

In OT, the Cowboys' defense forced Lawrence and the Jaguars to punt the ball after having lost the coin-toss. On 3rd and 3 from near midfield, a Dak Prescott pass to Noah Brown bounced off of Brown's hands and into the arms of Jaguars safety Rayshawn Jenkins, who wrapped his arms around the ball and ran 49 yards the other way for a game-winning pick-6.

(vs. TITANS, 1/08)

If the Jaguars win this game, then the AFC South will avoid having a division winner with a losing record for the first time ever ...... since the birth of the division in 2002, the worst record ever for the AFC South titlist was in the years 2015 and 2016, when the Texans won it by going 9-7 in both seasons.

Also, if the Titans win this game and the Buccaneers lose their game against the Falcons, it will mark the first time ever in the history of professional football that more than 1 division champion will have won its title with losing records.

Jags beat the Tits. Happy to see that.

I don't think I can wrap my head around the Jags being good. Even if Lawrence becomes the new Brady and they win multiple Super Bowls I'll still be like, lol it's the Jags.

You may not have to ...... they were very lucky to have won last night's game against a badly staggering Titans team who had not won a game since the middle of November.

The Titans outplayed the Jaguars, and they were playing in Jacksonville.

Lawrence looks like shit against the Chargers.

Refs are horrible in this game.

49ers and Purdy are looking good though.

It's especially bad tonight... but they were a 9-8 team that squeaked into the playoffs because somebody had to win the AFC South. Reminds me of some of those Texans teams under similar circumstances.

Several of our division champs have been frauds in the past decade or so.

*Ha, now they're trying to make a game of it. Down 27-0, outscored LAC 20-3 since. 10pt game going into 4th.
