They have been in the NFL since 1950.

They have a very rich history of starting quarterbacks ...... YA Tittle, John Brodie, Joe Montana, Steve Young, Jeff Garcia, Alex Smith, and Colin Kaepernick.

None of those quarterbacks had ever won their first 3 starts with the team ...... Brock Purdy has won his first 4 starts with the team, and his jersey has subsequently been placed in Pro Football's Hall-of-Fame in Canton, OH.
