Default Commish's Take

JT's best game of the year

TY is snake bitten, especially with the zebras, had a TD an 2 catches taken way from him today

The zebras called everything against us today

I hate the slow starts by the defense. How can this be fixed? Is it really a Darius Leonard
thing?

Patmon and Fountain inactive? Maybe they are not that good?

Blackmon has so outplayed Hooker, it's crazy

I guess we can throw away the dump Rivers rhetoric for 2 weeks

I might like to see AJ Green on this team, if we're going to make a SB push this year. It's just a one year rental

Okereke is playing damn good football

Don't know what Ya-sin was doing on that deep ball, but you should always follow a WR down the sideline

Special teams as always were great today

Patmon was drafted as a project. I didn't expect him to play much this year.

I think Patmon impressed the Colts during the abbreviated camp - supposedly he reported to camp in phenomenal shape. The beat writers also indicated that he started to make plays towards the end of camp and "forced" his way onto the roster. But I think the shortened camp really hurt the development of a few members of this year's rookie class. Not just writing about the Colts rookie class - but league wide.

Good to see Tyquan Lewis contributing finally. Team desperately needs Turay back though. They go through to many long stretches with no pressure.

Yes. Justin Houston was invisible all day long. What did they have, 1 sack against the worst line in the league in terms of sacks. Seemed like the Bengals were winning at the LOS all day long.

That fumble by Doyle on the 2nd play may be the weirdest play I’ve ever seen. He just flat out dropped it, without being touched. When that happened I thought, well, it’s gonna be one of those days.

I thought Reich messed up by not running more once they got the lead. They should have been pounding it with Taylor and they just kept chucking it. And it almost came back to bite them in the ass when Rivers threw the pick.

Okereke and Blackmon are studs. Okereke is always going to be overshadowed by Leonard, but it is interesting how little attention he gets by fans and the media. Blackmon has been simply outstanding for a rookie who cam in off an injury.

The lack of pressure on Burrow was the biggest surprise/disappointment for me. As you mentioned the Bungles have given up the most sacks in the league (at least going into today) and from what I've heard/read Burrow has been under a ton of pressure every week up until now.

That is troubling, it frankly goes back to my dislike of Eberflus. He sucks.

I hope you aren't basing Taylors 5 ypc as the reason for his "best game". He had a couple big runs Other than that he was very below average. His 5 ypc is very misleading

I suppose you would prefer Mack, but Taylor is going to be just fine.

I have been really disappointed with Ben Banogu, has he done anything this year? Lewis had a decent game, but some of his splash plays were not necessarily where he won his match up, he was left to roam free.

At least we tried to use the middle of the field a little more with Burton and Doyle this week.

Hilton just appears to be really struggling, although to be fair the officials really allowed both sets of DB's to play quite physical football.

Who is this Harris kid, No. 12. He had a good game. Surprised he made the active roster ahead of both Fountain and Patmon. What happens to our WR's once Pittman and Campbell are back? Hilton, Pascal and Johnson surely are locks with their reputations/play this season. We would have those 3, plus Pittman, Campbell, Dulin, Harris, Fountain and Patmon....no chance you can keep everyone???
