Default Chris Ballard: We will still have some talks with T.Y. Hilton

I’m for it. But Jim stopped taking my calls

TY is good enough for a last year (or two) contract.

Having a QB that can hit him wide open should be a good selling point

I have no idea what TY has left. We didn’t have a QB that could hit him in the routes he runs last year. Sign the man and see what he can do with someone accurate who actually understands throwing to get the man open.

TY hasn't had a QB that either he could connect with, or had a sn arm strong enough to get him the ball deep since Luck.

Either way, TY won't be back until after the draft, if he comes back at all.

If Ballard somehow mysteriously double dips at WR in the draft, then I wouldn't expect TY back at all.

I’m hoping you’re wrong about that Commish. Double dipping is fine but either way I would like TY back. Guy is smart, has class and would be an excellent mentor. I think he would be an excellent intermediate route runner who can still get free deep on occasion. Wentz totally sucked on intermediate routes, it’s what Ryan does best. Ty and Ryan would thrive together

Agreed. Not only would TY and Ryan work well together, but do we really want to rely on Dulin or Strachan/Patmon taking a huge leap, or a rookie 2nd/3rd rounder being ready to start from the get go?

I think if TY could just wear a flag, that when they pulled it off (or he pulled it off) he's down, he'd play for sure!

He’s smart, he wants to be here, and if managed carefully he could be very productive. If anything, I question his speed. If his legs are gone, he doesnt have the size or strength to compensate with in tough downs

I agree about his speed. He is still quick, like you said smart and a great route runner. And I definitely could be wrong about his speed, he may be fast enough. Sign the man
