Haha Polian just went off on drafting a guard in the first round.

The talent at TE is off the charts in this draft. They could grab a legit guy in the 5th.

There is a lot of talent at so many positions. Projected talent, anyway. RB, TE, MLB/ILB, OLB, and DB. It's a good year to have defensive needs. The ball is teed up pretty high for Ballard here.

While I'm excited about the level of talent this draft is supposedly producing, it also makes me think, the level of competition is just going to be getting that much better. Hopefully Ballard can outwit enough of them.

Agreed, the talent we miss out on is going to everyone else, and our division rivals Jacksonville and Tennessee have a lot of picks, and Houston doesn't have many holes to fill. Ballard can't screw up this draft.

(As posted in the stickied draft thread, though this thread is arguably more pertinent)...

Hearing that the Colts are considering trading up into the Top 10. Apparently they're thinking long and hard about Christian McCaffrey.

FOR FUCK'S SAKE BALLARD NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Still have to hit on your picks. That's what it really comes down to. sometimes I wonder if it is better to just take a sure thing like OJ Howard or Lamp than try to find that one EDGe in the first who will be good. Take multiple guys in lower rounds at EDGE.

Although don't like taking a guard in the 1st.

Like he said, everyone is lying. Maybe. Not believing anything till it happens. Seems Carolina wants him. Have to before 9.
