TY
It seems that Keven Bowen asked Reich today whether TY would be playing if Saturday's game would be a September/October game and not a playoff game. His response is that he would not be playing. TY has performed well the last couple of games even though it's clear his ankle is in bad shape.....I'm wondering whether TY will largely be a decoy on Saturday or if he will be capable of any real contribution. I think we can still win if he can give us 3 or 4 good plays and I think there is value in his being a decoy.......I am more concerned today, though, than I was yesterday that he is going to be able to function well. I hope with Kelly back that Mack and the running game can pick up some of the load.

Quote:
TY's ankle injury occurred during Week 14. How I read the quote was that Reich thought that TY might have rested in 1 or 2 games since Week 14 if the games were earlier in the season. In Week 15 vs Dallas, TY had 5 receptions for 85 yards. In Week 16 vs NYG, he had 7 receptions for 138 yards. He is just gutting out these performances on game day with little to no practice in between. Reich had another quote after the Giants game that Holder had 2 tweets about: https://twitter.com/HolderStephen/st...52040240312323 https://twitter.com/HolderStephen/st...52325880807426 |

I wonder if Houston will keep playing Johnathan Joseph on Hilton or put Kareem Jackson on him.

Thankfully Inman has shown he can make some big catches. Gives me a small degree of hope that the offense could function if a team takes away Hilton.

I think Reich and Sirianni have plans b, c, d, and e for if anyone tries to take Hilton away. With our OL healthy one of those plans can be "run the ball down their throats".

It seems that Johnathan Joseph is pissed off by TY's comments from the last game that he "feels at home playing at NRG stadium".........

That is just so sad. Poor Johnathan. Maybe he needs several months to sit at home and nurture his hurt feelings.
