Wonder how close he is to returning to full-contact. I thought I read he's had the cast off a while, so hopefully he's gotten some of that strength back already.

It was always good news that he could keep his conditioning up at least.

Good news on Moss, but not so much on Leonard. It's been 3 weeks and he's still in concussion protocol

Yeah, this is a really F'd up situation. Yesterday I think it was Chapp that said he was in the final stages and was expected to clear yesterday or today- that apparently didn't happen, which can only be interpreted as not good at all.

Not necessarily. Leonard was a full participant in practice today - no red non-contact jersey. Actually dropped the non-contact jersey last week.

The last hurdle is that he needs to be cleared by an independent neurological doctor. Given his history with concussions, that doctor may have wanted to see how he responded to a couple of full contact practices.

Oh good, I did not hear he was on the field. What I heard them say was he needed one day of contact and then re-evaluated before he would be cleared to play, so assuming he clears protocol tmrw should see him out there Sunday.

Good to hear. I read that he was practicing but with the non-contact jersey, but guess that was an older article.

It seems weird that you can participate in full contact drills, before being cleared.

Moss was just downgraded to DOUBTFUL and the Colts have elevated RB Jake Funk to the active roster for the Jax game.

That all but solidifies that RB Zack Moss (right forearm) will be out tomorrow against the Jaguars.

Three RBs: Deon Jackson, rookie Evan Hull and Funk
