Default Luck has a foot injury

From rotoworld

Quote:
Luck was hurt on a sack in Saturday's preseason game. Coach Frank Reich said Luck would be playing through the injury were it the regular season. This is the sort of update we might typically avoid, but anything is notable when it comes to Luck and his health this summer.
Offensive line is really doing it's part to keep Luck healthy.

Regardless of this injury, I watched the highlights today - he should not be running without sliding like I saw. That's just stupid for as smart as he's supposed to be.

Get rid of the ball to whom. Should he just throw every pass out of bounds?

Yes if there is no one open and he will take a hit.

Or learn to hit the deck like Peyton.

He has got to learn to concede some plays instead of always playing hero ball.

From Indy Star

Quote:
Andrew Luck missed Monday’s workout with a minor foot injury, per Reich, but “would play this Sunday if we had a game.” His status for Tuesday’s workout remains uncertain, but the Colts aren’t concerned about his availability for the Sept. 9 regular season opener vs. the Bengals, which would mark Luck’s first regular season game in 18 months. With the preseason wrapping up Thursday in Cincinnati, the Colts’ first-team has already shifted its focus to the regular season.

“No big deal,” Reich said. “Just a little minor issue.”

Luck injured the foot on a 15-yard scamper from the pocket in Saturday’s preseason win over San Francisco 49ers when he was taken down from behind by 49ers linebacker Dekoda Watson.
