I still expect us to draft a couple of LBs, but I like this signing. Added another young player with potential to what was the worst position group on the team. I'm expecting a CB to be added this week, too.

I was thinking this would be a Bears connection thing, but the timelines don't match up. Ballard was in KC by the time Bostic was drafted.

No expectations here, the guy has been traded a bunch. If he amounts to something, great. I hope the defensive signings don't mean Ballard is less willing to go defense early in the draft.

I read somewhere that Ballard was actually still on Bears staff when they selected Bostic, hadn't moved on to KC just yet
