Brown, 28, started the 2022 season with the Texans before they released him after he appeared in three games. The Browns signed him Oct. 5, and he played 13 games with five starts in a second stint with Cleveland. He totaled 12 catches for 117 yards in 16 games with the two teams last season, playing 341 offensive snaps and 21 on special teams. Brown also has played with the Raiders. He has 51 catches for 478 yards and two touchdowns since entering the league in 2017. |

Both of these guys are good additions to the bottom of the roster.
Evans is someone i liked coming out of college. He was stuck behind Henry in Tennessee, but was their primary backup for 2 seasons. Hadn't realised that he had been released and played last year with the Bears. He is a very talented guy, who has struggled with injuries the first couple of years. But as i said, when he was healthy, he was the first guy up to spell Henry. |

All are is very good at churning the bottom of the roster. Brown is, hopefully, the blocking tight end we missed desperately without Doyle. His loss contributed big time in the offensive line woes.
