Deon Cain Injures Knee, Possibly Out for Season
Michael Lombardi
@mlombardiNFL Colts WR Deon Cain suffered a knee injury in Thursday night's game against the Seahawks. Heard this might be season ending. Bad break for the Colts if what they fear becomes reality. While he probably wasn't going to explode onto the scene this year as the hype would've indicated at the beginning of training camp, still, bad break and gotta feel for the kid. |

Sucks. Ryan Grant is JAG and Chester Rogers is making business decisions in the heat of this battle. Consider me not very optimistic about WR2 this year.

Damn, I really thought he would be the surprise productive rookie out of this class. Hopefully it's not as serious as indicated and/or he gets healthy and ready to gi for next season.

We haven't had a legit WR2 since...Pierre Garcon? |

Derrius Guice went down with a MCL yesterday too. Just crappy luck. Although I wonder if he would be a 2, likely a 3-4 this season. Hopefully it is not a tear.

Confirmed: Cain tore his ACL and is done for the year.

It's a shame for Cain but I'm really not that worried about our wr's. With Luck at qb and a modern scheme where the play actually is designed to get a receiver open we should be fine.
