more comfortable in this system than Luck right now. It's going to be a hairy situation in the short term. I'm confident Luck is going to get back but right now there is an elephant in the room. |

having him throw deep and after Clarks wiff I can see why. I think the Elephant is his comfort level/decision making. I agree Brisset is not as good as Luck, not close. But I am not as down on him as you, I think he has the makings of a decent QB. |

Seems like if the 2nd round pick for Brissett was offered it wouldn't have been a bad idea to take it, especially if Brissett isn't good for any more than 4-6 wins. As for the Colts' struggles, you can't say it's because they're going all vanilla because that assumes that the Ravens aren't. Everyone is vanilla, but receivers should at least be able to get open occasionally. I also don't care how plain your blocking scheme is, priority one should be to not let the other team have a free run at your starting QB. On the positive side, the defense reminds me of the average years for the Dungy era D, but it's noticeably more aggressive at times, which gives me hope there. Dungy's D would concede all the way to the red zone with very little pressure. This defense at least seems to make teams earn yardage. Yeah, they aren't going to get a ton of 3 & outs, but it's not designed to stonewall teams.
