@colts
We have signed CBs Chris Culliver and Corey White, placed CB Darryl Morris on IR and waived-injured G Blake Muir: indcolts.co/awdltO Didn't know Darryl Morris was hurt. Hopefully this doesn't mean Quincy Wilson is at all seriously hurt. |

Chris Culliver: 2011 3rd round pick out of South Carolina drafted by SF. 6'0", 200 pounds, ran a 4.36 at the combine.
Played in 2011 and 2012 as depth with 6 games started out of 32. Missed the 2013 season with torn ACL but returned to start 14 games (of 14 played) for SF in 2014 with 4 INT, 15 PD and 45 tackles. He moved onto WAS in 2015 (4-year, $32m deal) after his rookie contract and was their starting CB for 6 games before tearing the ACL and MCL of his other knee on Thanksgiving Day to end his season. Through 6 games, he had 0 INT, 1 PD and 16 tackles. He did not play anywhere in 2016 as he was released in May 2016 following WAS signing Josh Norman and drafting Kendall Fuller. He signed with MIA but never made it off their PUP list for 2016. Honestly, not very excited; the kid had talent at one point but not being able to practice and play means that no matter what, he is rusty and another year older. Depth at this point; perhaps better depth than we had but don't expect big things from him, IMO. Corey White: Undrafted in 2012 but made the NO team. Played in 41 games over the next 3 seasons starting 19 of them with a combined 4 INT, 16 PD and 130 tackles (many of them special teams). Bounced between ARI and DAL in 2015 and played for BUF in 2016 starting 4 games for them. Experienced veteran but it is probably for a reason that he was not on a roster. Colts CB Depth Chart (not counting possibly T.J. Green): CB1 = Vontae Davie (9th year) CB2 (eventual) = Quincy Wilson (Rookie) CB3 = Rashaan Melvin (5th year) / Nate Hairston (Rookie) Chris Culliver (6th year) Corey White (6th year) Chris Milton (2nd year) Tevin Mitchel (2nd year) Dante Blackmon (Rookie) Is it any wonder that after our "starting" four CBs, that leadership wanted to bring in some more experienced depth in front of Milton, Mitchel and Blackmon? With Morris going to IR (sucks), the cupboard was pretty bare. Not that I am expecting great things from Culliver or White but if they push Wilson and Hairston to get better quicker and push Melvin to get better or be replaced, then all is good. Mitchel and Blackmon have looked poor to me and Milton is Just Another Guy (JAG) as well. Walk Worthy,
