The Colts have been existence since 1953. However, teams only played 12 regular season game from 1953 through 1960, and 14 regular season games from 1961 through 1977. Furthermore, the rules were heavily stacked against quarterbacks and receivers prior to the 1974 season, as defenders could continually bump receivers an unlimited number of times on each and every play as long as the ball was not yet in the air.

All of that said ...... prior to this season, there were only 3 Colts players ever to snare 100-or-more catches in a single season ...... and now, there are 4.

Pittman is stunning. It should be said he finished last year with 99 catches as well.

Dallas, Marvin and Reggie caught these passes from one of top 5 QBs in NFL history.

Pitt caught his 99 passes in 2022 and his 104 (and counting) in 2023 from Matt Ryan, Sam Ehlinger, Nick Foles, Gardner Minshew and Anthony Richardson.

The colts have been struggling for 5 years to replace Andrew Luck, we will be lucky to keep Pittman.

In 2022, Brock Purdy was just sitting there in round 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6...

Marvin and Pittman had their first 100 catch seasons in their 4th seasons. Dallas and Reggie had to wait until year 7 of their careers.
