i heard he was offered an obscene amount of money to go into the booth. i would probably walk away as well

No doubt. If he'll be making a ton of money with a cush commentator gig then you can't blame him taking that over the super stress filled NFL coaching job.

If Ballard is was going to step down on his own or get fired would have happened this morning already. I also think we need to come to terms that Saturday will be back. What a mess.
