That's unfortunate. I'm already looking forward to the 23/24 season.

How about Tyrod Taylor? At least we might be able to beat the mighty Jagoffs with him. |

Andy Dalton might be available, at one time this guy was very good but on a very bad team....if the Colts improve the D a little more, and get one more good receiver, the QB just needs to be adequate, but a good game manager and cool under pressure! Considering the Bears have Fields, I believe Dalton could be available for a reasonable price? Might Wentz benefit from a veteran QB presence on the team?

Daulton isn't better than Wentz. Daulton is a fkn turd!!!
Wentz was 26 and 6 before today. I don't know what he ended because I stopped watching. 80% of you were in love with Wentz at 9 and 6! We could do a lot worse!!!!!!!! Winning fixes everything. They lost so we are doing this. |

I should have known after the 2nd Titans game that Wentz wasn’t the answer. He singlehandedly lost that game. I’ve never seen a guy who shrinks more in the big moments than Wentz. He just doesn’t have what it takes. Million dollar talent, ten cent head. |

Most likely Ehlinger will have to beat out Wentz for us to move on.
I said it earlier and it's been mentioned... This defensive scheme isn't going to stop anyone, let alone anyone good, without some pass rush that doesn't look like pushing the sled. When Lawrence was 15/17 I kept thinking back to Brees' 29/30, Minshew's 19/20, Jackson's 37/43, etc... Even Carr last week, aside from two outstanding INTs on D, he still completed something like 83%. I know it's not the same scheme... But Dungy used to say that the idea was to prevent the big play and give up plays in front of you forcing long drives. Increasing the odds of the QB making a bad throw or the four DL getting home and creating inconvertible down and distance Well, even young guys nowadays are too good to rely on bad throws during pitch and catch. And our down four don't include Freeney/Mathis or Rice/Sapp. |
