The talent on the top end of the draft might not have been elite, but this appears to be a very deep draft, and finding some diamonds in the rough in the 5th round is very likely! I am always optimistic at the start of every season, but I really think things are going to turn around for our Colts in a big way!

My theory is that Freeland isn't a pick for today. Physically, he's eerily similar to Raimann. Tall, athletic build, not a lot of starts but freak athletes. Raimann was a 9.81, Freeland is a 9.82 (great 10yd, and blew away the OL in vert and broad jumps). So definitely a project.

Interesting part is that I believe Braden Smith has no more guaranteed money after this season (I could be wrong). If Freeland develops like Raimann seems to be doing, we could have nearly mirror images at OT and save a lot of money by parting with Smith in '24 or '25.

For now, he could be serviceable as depth, but still needs to become a player. Pure speculation, but could be a contributing factor in selecting him over an interior guy.

The #Lions are trading starting RB D'Andre Swift, sources tell me and
@TomPelissero
, sending him to the #Eagles in exchange for draft pick compensation. With David Montgomery and now first-rounder Jahmyr Gibbs, Swift heads out.

The #Lions trade D'Andre Swift and a 7th in 2023 to the #Eagles for a 4th round pick in 2025 and a 7th round pick in 2023.

Freeland is a great pick. Interesting to see how that will play out with Raimann. Has Zavala been drafted?

Couldn't be happier with Round 4. Hopefully the Colts can get Zavala in Round 5.

Jones is a good pick up for the Bengals!

Good for O'Connell, good solid back up for any team, and who knows, if he gets his chance he could do very well!
