I agree. Brisett has a better arm, and it needed to be 70 yards with some air under it. It will be interesting what the coachs say in the after game.

Are we sure it's a matter of something is still wrong with Luck's arm? We had the ball on, what, our own 35-40 yard line? Brissett just bombed that pass from several yards behind the LOS to the very back of the endzone, so he threw it 70ish yards in the air. Even if Luck had a strong arm, maybe it really was just a matter of Brissett has as REALLY f***ing strong arm.

Yeah, let's not get carried away. Luck had some good zip on the drive that should have ended with a TD late.

I thought he did when it was in the air.

I think Luck could toss it 50 yards. Thats enough for a QB. Could he strain it throwing a pass that deep? Is it worth the risk?

And no, he wouldn't have. He'd of gotten sacked just like Luck did. You can't throw the ball when someone's on you in less than 2 seconds.

Reich will own it and say his play calling wasn't very good today.

The defense deserved to win this game. The offense did not. When the defense gives you the ball twice on the positive side of the field, you have to come away with more than 6 points.
