So the five guys to get second interviews are Jeff Saturday, Ejiro Evero, Raheem Morris, Wink Martindale, and Rich Bisaccia goes in Monday.

Three defensive coordinators, one ST coordinator... and Saturday.

Does this mean Demeco Ryans is no longer a consideration? Not that I have good reasons for it, but I was hoping he would be the Colts next HC.

News outlets are linking him to the Texans, but there has been no official announcement

Sounds like the 2nd interview went well....but check out this comment from the article!

The one thing possibly standing in the way of Morris becoming the next head coach of the Colts is owner Jim Irsay. According to Jordan Schultz, general manager Chris Ballard and the front office prefer a candidate like Morris while Irsay prefers interim coach Jeff Saturday.

It also sounds like if the Colts hire Morris it would cost them 2 3rd round picks for compensation...that concerns me a little!
Holy shit. It’s going to be Saturday, isn’t it.

God damnit.

I'm predicting that we will name a coach by next Saturday and that coach will either be Raheem Morris or Brian Callahan.

I'll take the corpse. We'll have the same results, but at least I won't have to listen to all the talk.

With Cincy now out I would expect Brian Callahan in for a second interview.
Shane Steichen is already lined up for his second.

Glad to hear on Steichen. Out of the names mentioned I like either him or Morris. Also interested to see if Bieniemy is brought in for a 2nd interview.

Based on only knowing their body of work with their current teams, Callahan and Ryans were my top two choices. If they choose Callahan, let's just hope he's a lot better than his old man at being a head coach.
