The upgrade was an amazing difference wasn't it? Not sure how you cant want to get away from one of the lowest yards per gain in the rushing attach and a QB that ran for his life on every play.

Besides he was the BPA and maybe the 1st or second best player in the draft. He fits need and BPA

I can't fathom how anyone would be upset with this pick.

I hear ya. Not what we wanted, but a solid talent, not worth freaking out over like some special posters. I am pretty sure he is a guy we are going to be happy to have for many seasons.

Seeing all these defensive players getting selected makes me hope there are some quality ones left for us in the second round.

I continue to wonder if the pick means Ballard 1) intends to move up back into Round One for a defensive player or 2) doesn't think he has to because he expects one of those guys to still be there at #36
