The NFL became the NBA years ago. It’s becoming increasingly hard to watch. My kids can hardly believe my description of the NFL in the 70’s and even the 80’s. It’s a damn shame they’ll never enjoy Sundays like I did with my father.

Roughing-the-passer penalty on the Chargers ...... defensive players who are charging the quarterback as hard and as fast as they are supposed to be able to magically avoid landing on the quarterback when they tackle him ....... all they have to do is to quickly shift the weight of their entire body (at the very last second) to a different direction than the one that they were coming at (as hard and as fast as they can), and then they won't land on the quarterback ...... Newton's laws of physics don't apply to the NFL rule-makers.
