The move clears $5.75 million in cap room for the Redskins. Brown will turn 30 later this year but remains a productive off-ball linebacker. Agree completely. The key word is development. We are still trying to develop our young guys. They have to play to do that. Taking away snaps so that you have a slight increase in production for a couple of years doesn't do that. I like that Ballard is all in. Nothing good happens when you half ass it. There is more than one way to build a super bowl team, but it really helps to at least have a way.

Good call. Emmanuel Ogbah is on the block as well. That could be interesting depending on price.

I would like to kick the tyres on Berry and see what he has left. His play hasn't declined, he just hasn't been on the field the last 2 seasons. So if he is finally healthy, he could be a big contributor. We are in the fortunate position that Ballard should have an inside track on him generally though. So i trust his judgement completely if he decides to stay away.
