Nelson Agholor got the same contract as Yannick Ngakoue. Read the previous sentence again.

I have read that his run defense is pedestrian, which is counter to what we need. facing Henry twice a season.

He gets to the QB. The Colts need that. Average run defense is fine when you get to the QB.

Thanks for the laugh, but in all seriousness, Ballard talks about wanting 9 DL for rotation. I count 7 at most currently, with only Buckner as a true standout:

DT = Buckner, Stewart, Stallworth, Windsor
DE = Turay, Banogu, Lewis

An impact player at DE is needed, and the only available route for that now is the draft. Hopefully they sign Trent Williams, so they can risk not picking a LT at 21.

The Cheats keep spending: they have signed TE Hunter Henry to a 3 year deal.

And New England strikes again: The Patriots are signing former Chargers' TE Hunter Henry to a three-year, $37.5 million deal, including $25 million guaranteed, per source.

Free agency's top two tight ends, Henry and Jonnu Smith, wind up in New England.

Digging themselves a hole. And as of now, they have no decent quarterback to get those TE the ball.

They have Cam Newton. Were it 2015, they'd be Super Bowl favorites.
