If the Raiders trade Khalil Mack then I’ll have to assume that Al Davis has been faking his own death for the last seven years.

This. Not happening. It would be like us trading away Freeney in his prime. Make the effort to fix the issue, don't get rid of an extremely talented player at one of the most important positions.

Maybe if they switch their base defense, they'll get rid of him.

My thoughts exactly except now there are multiple rumors that the Raiders may actually be considering trading him. Gruden may love Key (their third rounder) enough to gamble or maybe its the Raiders being the Raiders. If true would you give two number ones for him? One and a player? Or is it to early to spend that money the Colts still have on the books?

Seymour was 29 and had averaged 5-6 sacks/year. Mack turns 27 this year and has averaged over 10 sacks/year.

Sacks per year don't tell the whole story. In terms of value they're similar, maybe a premium for Mack's age, so a 2019 3 and a 2020 1?

Two years of an elite player's prime is worth more than an extra 3rd.
