After the “building the culture” mantra about free agency it seems like an odd signing. Have to think Ballard really believes Collins can get his shit together. That it’s not just based on a gamble on talent. Either way, I like low risk, high reward type moves.
Perhaps this indicates that Ballard is happy with how the team's leadership is shaping up.
