Default Colts draft RB Evan Hull - Round 5, Pick 176

Colts make their ninth pick of the 2023 NFL Draft, grabbing Northwestern running back Evan Hull.

Could be a nice No. 3 who can catch the ball out of the backfield.

Evan Hull was drafted with pick 176 of round 5 in the 2023 draft class.

He scored a 9.32 RAS out of a possible 10.00.

This ranked 119 out of 1745 RB from 1987 to 2023

Here's the creator of the RAS scoring system.

o

Maybe he'll be another Donald Brown ...... Brown had a decent, 7-year NFL career.

Good call as far as play style. Hull lacks the long speed, but is a very crafty runner, with better pass catching skills and toughness than Donald Brown.

Brown was never a terrible player, but should've never been drafted in the 1st rd. Remember, those were the days when Chrissy was calling the shots.

I hated that pick but Brown won me over before he left.

Run style wise I like the comparison but I felt Brown had legitimate "long" speed.

I think he's more "fluid" and elusive than Brown was though. I like his frame better too.
